• 1 x 10mL bottle of +50% solution

The AS/NZS 4308:2023 Standard states under Section 3:
One high control and one low control samples shall be analyzed before use on each new lot of onsite drug screening or creatinine measurement devices in each new delivery. If multiple lots of onsite drug screening devices arrive in the same delivery, all lots shall be evaluated.

Controls storage requirements

Having issues with controls tests? Think about the storage conditions of the controls you are using.
Most testers around the country are storing controls solution in the fridge, without knowing the controls will become unstable after a month!

We recommend storing controls in a freezer, and bringing them to room temperature when used.

Unopened Detectabuse controls:

•  Stable until the expiration date when stored in a freezer (-10ºC to -20ºC)

Opened Detectabuse controls:

• Stable for 6 months when stored in a freezer (-10ºC to -20ºC). Can be thawed/frozen up to 5 times.
• Stable for 31 days when stored in the fridge (2ºC to 8ºC).
