NZQA Drug Testing for Workplaces
Training staff in correctly performing a urine drug screening test in your workplace is crucial. We can put you in touch with NZQA accredited training providers to deliver training sessions all over NZ to help you with this. See our different course options below:
In these courses, you will be trained to collect urine for drug testing in accordance with the joint AS/NZS 4308:2023 Standard.
NZQA credits required for urine workplace drug testing
- Unit Standards 25511: Perform urine drug screening in the workplace
- Unit Standard 25458: Perform urine specimen collection in the workplace for drug testing
Virtual Training – ProMed
These courses are held as a half day course over Zoom. Courses have pre-course material to complete. They are interactive, and run with a small group so there is plenty of help available throughout the session. You will come away with a far greater understanding of the processes and logic behind workplace urine drug testing! The credits received do not need renewing or updating, they are for life.

This is limited to six attendees, if you would like to secure your spot on a course, please fill in the enrolment form.
This course is run by ProMed (a registered PTE) and facilitated by Sober Check. It costs $550 + GST per attendee for enrolment.
Cancellations, substitutions or no shows
Modification to enrolment is accepted without penalty up to ten (10) working days prior to the course commencement. Thereafter, any alternation will be treated as follows: Late Substitution, Late Cancellation or No Show: Full Fee The invoice is to be paid by 20th Day of Month following invoice. Overdue account(s) may be charged interest of 2.5% per month that the account(s) is overdue.
