GHB Urine Test (each)
$18.00 + GST
The GHB urine tester tests for the presence of gamma-hydroxybutrate (GHB), which is commonly called the date rape drug.
It tests for levels between 10 μg/mL and 50 μg/mL and provides a preliminary result only. High levels of Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) in urine can interfere with the colour reaction on GHB dip tests which may occasionally cause the test result to appear faint or inconclusive. While this test is useful for initial screening, a more specific alternative chemical method is recommended.
The GHB dip tester test can be easily added on to a urine test, where you can read results within 10 minutes. This dip test is often used alongside the Medix Pro-Split cup and the MicroScreen2 cup.
Addiction treatment centres use these tests frequently.
